The holidays are over and we all may have eaten too many sweets and forbidden foods, drank too much, stressed too much and deprived ourselves of some much needed sleep.  When we do things like this to our bodies it also affects our skin, such as, inflammation, redness, dark circles, breakouts, dehydration, etc.  The holidays tend to be stressful for all of us and cause our bodies to constantly pump out stress hormones.  One major stress hormone is cortisol which breaks down collagen and leads to sagging skin, wrinkles and major inflammation. 

So what can we do? ....... Detox, Exfoliate, and use the right products! 

 

 
Step 1 - Detox:

The best way to start is by drinking plenty of water. This will help to flush out toxins in the body and start clearing our skin.  It will keep our skin hydrated from the inside out. Vitamin-rich waters, such as Borba, alos work just as well.
